City of Maywood Parks & Recreation Sports Complex Baseball Stadium

Kluger Architects is working on a Public Park Renovation project for the City of Maywood, California. The project involves the Maywood Parks & Recreation Sports Complex.

In November 2017, the original baseball stadium that has been in the city since the late 1950’s, and an integral part of the community, burned down due to a spark from an existing wire.

The City of Maywood has gone thru some rough transitions and the City Council wanted to showcase the newly built baseball stadium to be part of their transition into a more open and transparent city.

The current City Council requested the services of Kluger Architects after they were successful in helping the City of Bell, located in Los Angeles County, do ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Compliance upgrades to some of their Public Facilities.

Kluger Architects proposed a schematic design for a new stadium, site work and renovations to the field. This will help the City of Maywood be able to price it and provide a proposal for the City Council to review.

Once it gets approved by the Council, the project can be open for comments and eventually get built.
