Project Manager
Reports to
Principal
Responsibilities
-
Direct team members
(employees and consultants) at all levels of contract administration.
-
Control any number of
projects at various stages of work.
-
Consult with clients
to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or
renovation and prepare information regarding design, specifications,
materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
-
Plan projects and
integrate engineering elements into unified design for client review and
approval.
-
Quality control of a
project & related drawings/ documentation.
-
Oversee projects
through complete entitlement processes.
-
Represent clients in
obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts.
-
Administer
construction contracts and conduct periodic on-site observation of work
during construction to monitor compliance with plans & codes.
-
Prepare studies and
reports.
-
Review project
construction status with Job Captains, including review of RFI’s, shop
drawings, etc.
Education
-
5-7 years with a
Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent
-
Registered Architect
a plus
