Project Manager

Reports to

Principal 

Responsibilities

  • Direct team members (employees and consultants) at all levels of contract administration.
  • Control any number of projects at various stages of work.
  • Consult with clients to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation and prepare information regarding design, specifications, materials, color, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
  • Plan projects and integrate engineering elements into unified design for client review and approval.
  • Quality control of a project & related drawings/ documentation.  
  • Oversee projects through complete entitlement processes.
  • Represent clients in obtaining bids and awarding construction contracts.
  • Administer construction contracts and conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans & codes.
  • Prepare studies and reports.
  • Review project construction status with Job Captains, including review of RFI’s, shop drawings, etc.

Education

  • 5-7 years with a Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent
  • Registered Architect a plus
