Cathedral High School Los Angeles, CA

Cathedral High School decided to divide the expansion and renovation of the school into two phases: (1) renovate and add a new gym/assembly space and science class rooms and (2) construct, in the future, a new performing arts facility. Phase 1 was completed in 2008. The new wing consisted of a gymnasium, athletic facilities, assembly space, science labs, and additional classroom space. The new gymnasium was designed to be compliant with C.I.F. regulations and is equipped with locker rooms, a weight-lifting space, and an “alumni room” which is an observation balcony that overlooks downtown L.A. The school is currently in the fund-raising phase for the future performing arts facility.
